Cerebrovascular disease is very rare in pediatric patients but in adults would be treated with anticoagulant therapies, which would include potentially aspirin but other anticoagulants may also be used, and acute management for stroke is the same as for other causes of stroke. If you have a patient with Fabry Disease you have to make sure that the patient and the family know when to call, and that immediate institution of therapy is essential.
