Next looking at the brain findings in pediatric patients. Previous pictures of the findings in some older adults with Fabry Disease showed white spots. Those white spots can show up as early as aged 7, however they are not typically present at that age. They are quite common going into early adulthood, and there are currently no good studies showing how early those show up. Pediatric strokes can occur but they are quite rare. In the most recent study of pediatric Fabry Disease that is available with a large population, there were 352 patients, none of the pediatric patients had had strokes. They can occur but they are probably less than 1% of the pediatric population.
